About TAG

The Mission of the Tax Payers Association of Gray is to be the most trusted resource for nonpartisan tax policy and government spending information. TAG members work diligently to educate Gray citizens by illuminating various issues and their anticipated impact on our community well-being.

We serve the taxpayers of Gray through comprehensive research and unbiased advocacy for prudent fiscal policy development and administration. A measure of our success will culminate in an enlightened Gray taxpayer and a receptive and responsive local government that work together to develop fair, equitable and predictable tax policies and to insure that the Town of Gray provides value to the public. We believe our goals are the same as those of every taxpayer.

We strive to SPEAK and be heard:
Support accountability and efficiency in all levels of government that ensures sustainable, well-managed public services.
Provide high-quality resources to support a well-informed public on tax and public expenditure issues.
Encourage prudent fiscal policies and practices that benefit all taxpayers.
Advocate public policies that promote manageable growth for Gray’s economy.
Keep a competitive tax climate for both individuals and businesses.
